About FTL Wild Wednesday

1. This league will be known as FTL Wild Wednesday. This league will be a Managed League. This league will be sanctioned through USBC. All sanction cards must be  paid on the first league meeting date if not previously paid through  another league.

2. The FTL Wild Wednesday officers are as follows:

3.  Each team will consist of 4 members. Teams can be comprised of all men,  all women, or mixed.. Each team will be allowed (2) permanent subs to  be added to their roster for the season. This league will not allow for any roaming subs. Two team members (to include permanent subs) will constitute a legal  line up. A team must have a legal line up at the start of league play  otherwise games are forfeited until a legal line up has been  established. 

4.  FTL Wild Wednesday will meet for 36 weeks on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm  beginning August 13, 2024 and ending on May 13, 2025. Practice each week  will begin at 7:00pm. The league WILL NOT BOWL on December 24, 2024 and December 31, 2024. 

5.  FTL Wild Wednesday will have (2) sessions, with a position  round on the  of each session. All win/loss  will convert back to zero after each position round. The league will  work on a (10) point system, (3) points per game won, and (1) points for  total pins. 

6.  There is no team cap for this league. Individual handicap will be 90%  of 220. The league will use the bowler’s highest USBC book average from  2024-2025 as shown on Bowl.com. If the bowler does not have an average for 2024-2025, then the highest book average from 2023-2024 as shown on Bowl.com will be used. A bowler without an average for either year will establish their  average after bowling the first 3 games. Entering averages will be used  for the first (3) weeks, total of 9 games.  FTL Wild Wednesday League  will use the 10 pin drop rule for the season. 

7.  In the event you have an absent bowler and none of your permanent subs  are available to fill in for the absent bowler then the team must use  your absent bowler’s average minus ten pins in computing scores. 

8. FTL Wild Wednesday is a GUARANTEED LINEAGE LEAGUE.  In the event of absence, the bowler will be required to pay past due  fees in full upon return to be eligible to bowl. The league bowling fees  are $30 per week per bowler.  Bowling fees must be paid at the control counter to the League Manager prior to bowling each week. The league will allow the bowler to be 1 week in arrears. 

9.  On a bowler’s 3rd consecutive absence without payment a vacancy score  of 150 will be used for the bowler’s spot. The team will be responsible  for payment of the vacancy until the spot is filled by a paying bowler  due to guaranteed lineage.

10.  The last (2) weeks of bowling fees must be paid on or before February  18, 2026. Forms of payment for bowling fees are cash, check (made  payable to: FTL), debit/credit card, or cash app. If for any reason a  check is returned to the league a $38 NSF fee plus the amount of the  check must be paid before the member will be eligible to bowl. The  bowler will not be able to write checks for the remainder of the season  unless bank error can be proven. 

11.  A tardy bowler may enter the game provided the third (3rd) frame has  not been completed by both teams. The bowler will be allowed to make up  missed frames. 

12.  A team bowling a vacancy must bowl within 40 pins of their team’s current scratch average to win the point in question. 

13.  In accordance with USBC rule number 121a, a member withdrawing from the league must give two

weeks’  notice along with cause for resigning from the league. If a bowler does  not give notice and leaves the league, then in accordance with USBC  rule 121a, all prize fund monies for that bowler will be forfeited.  It  will be to the team’s discretion to divide prize fund monies between the  resigning bowler and the replacement bowler.

14.  NO POST BOWLS will be allowed in this league. The league will allow for PRE BOWLS except for position rounds.  A pre bowl must be completed by Sunday prior to the league meeting on  Tuesdays of each week. The Team Captain must notify the League Manager,  or a League Officer in advance for any pre bowl. The league will allow  for an individual or the entire team to pre bowl. ALL Pre Bowled scores must be accompanied with an official print out from the center to be counted as official scores. Any score changes during a prebowl must be done by League Officer or Center Manager. 

15. ALL TIES (WIN/LOSS) on the standing sheet will be determined by HANDICAP pin count from first place through last place. 

16. Any rules not covered in these LEAGUE BYLAWS will be subject to and governed by USBC Rules.
